Since graduating from Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and The Place in 2004 ZK has had a successful and versatile career as a performer, teacher and choreographer, working with a range of companies. Some of which include, Rambert Dance Company, Billy Elliot, Wayne McGregor | Random, Avant Garde Dance, East London Dance, The Place, London Studio Centre, Mimbre, Tavaziva to name a few.
As a teacher her experience ranges from beginners to professional dancers as well as children to the older participants (60+) and students with special needs. She is a course Leader at London Studio Centre where she teaches Contemporary release/cunningham technique, contact, choreography and fitness.

She is the founder of the performance company Zamira Kate (ZK) Dance which has been running since 2014.

Research and development bursary from Arts Council In January 2015
with this she made a 35 minute piece with four dancers and 20 degree students from London Studio Centre. It was performed at Bournemouth pavilion, ignition festival and Moving words 2015

Moving Words is a yearly platform she has set up in collaboration with London Studio Centre to give current students, alumni and staff to perform and choreograph. So they can try out new ideas. We have also worked with live musicians to make the evening even richer.
2008-2011 ZK helped Xenoula Eletheriades to run a fundraising night called Tongue Tied. Which raised money to set up a outreach dance project in Zimbabwe. In 2009 and 2010 I went to Zimbabwe and taught workshops and performed at HIFA festival.
